Se have used one of these for years at our B&B, cooking scratch pancakes or homemade french toast several days a week for up to 30 people. Our Rival finally gave out, so we bought our second Bake King. They seem to have a better surface than the one from a couple of years ago, and nothing has stuck, it works perfectly right out of the box (after washing, of course).
Just a note - ANY grill that you can afford will have hot spots, this one (as the manual says) is a few degrees hotter on the end farthest from the middle, then the other end, and then the center. Just place your food accordingly, and all is goodness.
